EU ESSAY CONTEST

The Delegation of the European Commission to the Republic of Korea will hold an essay competition in partnership with Yonsei-SERI EU Centre in Seoul and PNU EU Centre in Busan with the following conditions.

Subject:
“From here to 2020 – EU foreign and security policy in a changing world”

Language: Korean

Size: 10 pages in A4 with font 11 &; single line space

How to apply:
All university students in South Korea are entitled to apply.
Students residing in Seoul or Kyunggi-province to submit to the Yonsei-SERI EU Centre and Students residing in other areas to the PNU EU Centre

The following documents should be sent by registered post no later than 5:00 p.m. on November 6, 2009.
1) Application form (attached)
2) essay
3) a copy of student certification

Announcement of winners: December 2, 2009

Presentation of prizes: December 4, 2009 at the Delegation of the European Commission (at a time to be announced later)

Prizes
1st (1.5 million won) / 2nd (1 million won) / 3rd (0.5 million won)

All essays submitted will not be returned.

Copy rights will be vested in the Delegation of the European Commission to the Republic of Korea.
